Terms for creators
Last updated: October 2026 (draft)
Who runs the service
PubliRare Creators lets authors and publishers design Access Books and sell them on PubliRare. TalesOnChain runs the service.
Access during the beta
During the beta, only invited people can create an account: an address on TalesOnChain’s access list, or an address a house has invited.
The service and its screens may change during the beta, and so may these terms.
Your account and its security
You sign in with a code sent to your email address. Keep your mailbox safe: anyone who reads it can sign in, unless two-step verification is on.
The owner of a house must turn on two-step verification to manage its team, its legal entity and its wallet, and keeps it on while they own the house.
Your house and its team
A house brings together the accounts that publish under one name. Its owner invites members as editors or accountants, within the seats of the house’s plan.
The owner is responsible for the house, its members and what it publishes.
Your books
You keep every right to your books, their text and their images. By publishing an Access Book, you confirm that you hold the rights it needs, and you let PubliRare show and sell it on PubliRare.
Limited editions and copies reserved for PubliRare packs
When you create an edition, you set its size: the most copies that can ever exist. That cap is final, and it protects the rarity your readers pay for.
A share of each edition is reserved once for PubliRare, which uses these copies to build packs that bring several publishers together, sold under the PubliRare name. The share counts within the edition size. Its rate is set by plan at launch, and an edition of 10 copies or fewer has none. Copies you add later, up to the cap, reserve nothing more.
Plans and payments
The Author plan is free. The other plans, their prices and the commission on card sales will be announced at launch. Until then, write to TalesOnChain to change plans.
Your wallet
Each sales space of a house can have one wallet linked to it: one created with your email address, or one you already use.
No payout reaches this wallet yet: payouts open in a later release.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account from the Security page. If you own a house that is still open, write to TalesOnChain first, which transfers the house to another member or closes it.
What deletion erases, and what stays: see Privacy.
Changes to these terms
These terms may change. Each version is dated at the top of this page, and your account keeps the version you accepted.
